Dynamics 365 Business Central

A standard that fits your business. Not the other way around. We make Business Central frictionless: fewer clicks, more automation, a system that simply runs.

What we hear

Business Central works. It's the implementation that falls short.

These are not quotes from companies with a bad ERP system. They are quotes from companies with a good system that was implemented poorly or never properly followed up on.

Curabis works exclusively with Business Central and has done so since the system was called Navision. That depth means we do not spend your project time learning the platform. We spend it learning your business.

“We can’t press a button and see the correct stock level. We call the warehouse instead.”

Typical: webshop and BC not connected

“The report that should take 10 minutes takes half a day because data lives in three places.”

Typical: no link between BC and reporting

“The integration stopped by itself. The entire order flow came to a halt.”

Typical: fragile integration layer

Which situation looks familiar?

Our clients typically come from one of three situations

Wholesale distributor with too many systems

Data in BC, data in spreadsheets, a separate PIM and Excel files updated manually, and nobody knows which number is correct.

Let us look at your data situation

Retailer with a webshop that doesn't talk to BC

Stock levels wrong online, prices set in two places and orders entered manually, but the answer isn't necessarily a new system.

Growth company that has outgrown its setup

Started on Shopify, and the integrations work, but they are fragile and depend on specific people, and Black Friday exposes it every year.

What Business Central covers

  • Finance and financial reporting

  • Inventory and logistics

  • Sales and purchasing

  • Manufacturing and service orders

  • Project management and resource planning

  • E-invoicing: OIOUBL and PEPPOL

  • Copilot and AI assistants built directly in

BC updates automatically, and new Microsoft functionality is rolled out continuously.

How Curabis implements

  1. Standard first. We start with what BC can do out of the box, because it covers more than most people expect.

  2. AppSource apps we know and trust. We only recommend apps we have implemented and tested ourselves in practice.

  3. Customisation for the last 10%. What standard and apps cannot solve, we build to fit exactly.

  4. Training in your own data. We train your team on your system, your flows and your roles.

Still running Navision or C5?

Microsoft is ending support. The question isn't whether you need to upgrade, it's when.

NAV 2018 loses support in January 2028. Earlier versions have already lost it. Without support, you are exposed to security gaps and vendor issues.

What we hear from many companies is a fear of losing years of accumulated business logic. That is a real concern, and it can be managed with the right approach.

Schultz ran NAV 2009 with roots going back to 1999. We moved them to Business Central cloud and preserved 30 years of business logic through a structured, step-by-step migration.

Questions and answers

What companies typically ask before reaching out

Below you will find answers to the questions we most often receive before a first conversation.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central are two generations of the same ERP system. BC is cloud-native with continuous updates and Copilot built in. They share a database architecture, so upgrading is possible without starting from scratch.

NAV 2009 and NAV 2013 are already out of support, as are NAV 2016 and NAV 2017. NAV 2018 loses support in January 2028. C5 is no longer supported.

Yes, but it requires a structured approach. We upgrade in stages and clean up along the way. Schultz is a real example: NAV 2009 with roots going back to 1999, lifted to BC cloud with the full history preserved.

The BC license is billed as a monthly per-user subscription from Microsoft. Implementation services depend on scope and number of users. We price projects based on an initial scoping meeting.

Microsoft's Copilot is built into BC and helps with product descriptions, customer ledger entries, and bank reconciliation. No separate license is required for cloud users.

BC + Cross Channel Platform

BC handles inventory and order management, but not live across webshop and physical store. Cross Channel Platform connects BC with all sales channels and synchronises stock levels and order status without manual intervention.

Stock levels in the webshop are correct, prices are set in one place and apply across all channels, and orders from the webshop flow automatically into BC.

BC + Power BI and ODS

BC contains the data, but pulling it into reporting puts load on the production system. ODS copies BC’s data into a separate data layer that Power BI reads freely, without affecting operations.

The CFO sees the year’s sales, the IT director monitors integration status and the warehouse team tracks rotation, all from the same data foundation.
